AGNES DOROTHY CHEVAL 1928 - 2014 Agnes Dorothy (Halagard) Cheval age 86 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Bellevue Medical Center in Bellevue, NE. Agnes was born on January 10, 1928 to Thomas and Sophie (Dubiecz) Halagard in Omaha, NE. She was raised and schooled in Omaha and attended Immaculate Conception Grade School. Agnes had worked in Omaha at the Kitty Clover Potato Chip Factory and Jubilee Manufacturing Company. She met Frank Edward Cheval and they were later married on May 31, 1953 in Plattsmouth, NE. Agnes and Frank made their home in Plattsmouth. She was a housewife and a homemaker, but had worked at Tip Top in Omaha. She was a member of the Church of The Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. Agnes is survived by her two sons: James Halagard and Christine Juber of Plattsmouth, NE, Frank Cheval Jr. of Plattsmouth, NE, four grandchildren: Danny Halagard, Dawn Taylor, Jason "Junkyard" Halagarda, Jamie Halagarda, five great grandchildren: Rodney Ketchum, Ronald Ketchum, Brandon Taylor, Chance Taylor, Brody Halagarda, two sisters: Dorothy Seydlitz of Gretna, NE, Josephine Nussrallah of Yreka, CA, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Sophie Halagard, husband: Frank Cheval Sr., two infant brothers, three brothers: Pete Halagard, Rich Halagard, Ed Halagard, and seven sisters: Sophie Gradowski, Catherine Dogacz, Marie Halagard, Ann Pastory, Frances Kelson, Helen Hargan, and Virginia Taulk. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Church of The Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Church of The Holy Spirit with Father Loras K. Grell officiating, ? as lector, ? as acolyte, Terry Little as vocalist, and Jolene Rogge as organist. Pallbearers will be Nic Bryant, Travis Bryant, Jamie Halagarda, Jason Halagarda, Fred Markham, and Zach Markham. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ron Ballinger, Brody Halagarda, and Justin Marsh. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. The family suggests memorials for Masses at the Church of the Holy Spirit.
