ALVERA MAXINE TSCHIRREN 1933 - 2023 Alvera Maxine (Haase) Tschirren age 89 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Emerald Legacy Rehabilitation Center in Omaha, NE. She was born on July13, 1933 to Edith Julia (Ledgeway) Hasse and George W. Haase in Plattsmouth. She was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth. While attending Plattsmouth High School, Alvera met the love of her life, Kenneth “Kenny” L. Tschirren and they were later married on January 22, 1956 at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Plattsmouth. Alvera and Kenny made their home and raised their four children on the family farm west of Plattsmouth. Alvera was employed for over fifteen years as a custodian for the Plattsmouth Public Schools. Alvera had a zest for learning that, in her later years, motivated her to return to Metro Community College where she earned her Associate of Arts Degree in Graphic Design. She was an active member of the Merry Workers Extension Club, up until the time of the club’s disbandment in the early 2000’s. She is survived by her three daughters: Diane Tschirren of Stoughton, WI, Debra Tschirren of Plattsmouth, NE, and Denise (Tschirren) Rope and her husband Ron of Clarinda, IA; her son: Joseph Tschirren and his wife Jacque of Ankeny, IA; five grandchildren: Leigha Aaroen, Morgan Rope, Katie Tschirren, Nicollette (Rasmussen) Jenkins and her husband Jake, and Jason Rasmussen and his wife Jazz; seven great grandchildren: Bryonna Aaroen, Kendra Aaroen, Hannah Aaroen, Tucker Jenkins, Milo Jenkins, Link Jenkins, and Aslan Rasmussen; her sister: Martha Baumgart of Plattsmouth, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Alvera was preceded in death by her mother: Edith Haase, her husband: Kenny Tschirren, grandson: Luke Anderson, two sisters: Phyllis Haith and Alice Pfeiffer, and three brothers: Loren Haase, Carol Haase, and Jerry Haase. Visitations will be held 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Roby Funeral Home with Rev. Mavis Hall officiating. The Pallbearers will be Dalton Baumgart, Raymond Baumgart, Tim Keefer, John Meisinger, David Pfeiffer, and Randy Schroeder. Her Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
