CHARLES ROGER MRASEK 1943 – 2022 Charles Roger Mrasek age 79 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Nebraska Medicine Bellevue Health Center in Bellevue, NE. Roger was born on August 14, 1943 to Donald Eugene Mrasek and Nola Betty (Vallery) Mrasek in Omaha, NE. He was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth and he graduated from Plattsmouth High with the class of 1961. Roger met Roxanne Matlack and they later married on September 2, 1990 at their vacation home in Colorado. Roger and Roxanne made their home in Plattsmouth. He worked at Westinghouse Electric Supply as a Regional Administrator for twenty five years and as a purchasing manager at various companies until he retired. He was a past Master of Plattsmouth Masonic Lodge #6 A.F. and A.M., past Worthy Patron of Order of the Eastern Star Home Chapter #189, past Associate Guardian of Job's Daughters Bethel #24, International Order of Job’s Daughters, a member of the Tangier Shrine, and Roger was a member and elder of First Christian Church in Plattsmouth. Roger is survived by his wife: Roxanne Mrasek of Plattsmouth, NE; his four daughters: Jody Babcock of Des Moines, IA; Jill Rollins and her husband Fred of Plattsmouth, NE; Jenny Zillner of Shawnee, KS; Ardena Mrasek and her husband Brian Dahlstrom of Omaha, NE; six grandsons: Cody Combs, Josh Zillner, Nicholas Zillner, Trevor Babcock, William Babcock and Jameson Dahlstrom, an one grandaughter Margaret Raela Roxanne Dahlstrom; numerous cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Donald and Betty Mrasek. Visitations will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M., with the family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Masonic Rites at 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 5, 2022 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at First Christian Church in Plattsmouth with Pastor Michael Lincoln officiating. The Pallbearers will be Cody Combs, Josh Zillner, Nicholas Zillner, Fred Rollins, Brian Dahlstrom and Tim Matlack. His Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. The family suggests Memorials to Valley Hope in Atchison, KS or First Christian Church of Plattsmouth.
