DOLORES LUCILLE ROZELL 1931 – 2020 Dolores Lucille (Porter) Rozell, age 88 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Bellevue Medical Center. She was born on December 31, 1931 to Gloy Raymond and Leota Alice (Stapleton) Porter in Tulsa, OK. She was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth. Dolores met Everett Emery Rozell and they were later married on January 16, 1948 in Sidney, IA. Dolores and Everett made their home and raised their daughters in Plattsmouth. Dolores and Everett owned and operated Plattsmouth Haul Away and the Plattsmouth Land Fill. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, and a homemaker. Dolores was a member of First Christian Church and the First Christian Women. She is survived by her two daughters: Gloria Pesek and husband Louis of Omaha, NE; Connie Henninger and husband Robert of Plattsmouth, NE; two grandsons: Brian Wuelling and wife Michelle of Plattsmouth, NE; Darin Henninger of Plattsmouth, NE; two great grandchildren: Kelsi and Colin Wuelling; three sisters: Phyllis Walden and husband James of Corinth, TX; Jean Hild of Plattsmouth, NE; Sharon Smith and husband Denny of Plattsmouth, NE; brothers: John “Blacky” Porter and wife Pat of Plattsmouth, NE; George Porter and wife Diana of Bellevue, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Gloy and Leota Porter, husband: Everett Rozell, brother: Max Porter, sister: JoAnn Cromwell, and her brother-in-law: Lyle Hild. A Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Roby Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Lincoln officiating. *COVID-19 guidelines will be followed at the mortuary* The Pallbearers will be Cory Hutchinson, Randy Hutchinson, Mike Kief, Tye Porter, Troy Porter, and Paul Stapleton.
