Donna Lee Meisinger

DONNA LEE MEISINGER 1931 – 2014 Donna Lee (Rhoden) Meisinger age 83 of Plattsmouth, NE peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at her residence. Donna was born on January 21, 1931 to Kelly Jearl and Blanche Lena (Cannon) Rhoden in Union, NE. She was raised and educated in Plattsmouth. She graduated from Plattsmouth High School. After graduating from high school, Donna taught county school for several years. She met Lyle Verner Meisinger and they were later married on February 24, 1951 in Plattsmouth. Donna was farm wife, mother, and homemaker. Donna worked as a bailiff for the Cass County Clerk in Plattsmouth for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and Order of Eastern Star Home Chapter #189 both of Plattsmouth. Donna is survived by her two sons: Kirk Meisinger and wife Rose of Omaha, NE, Mark Meisinger and wife Carole of Plattsmouth, NE, eight grandchildren: Lindse Winterstein and husband Jamie of Phoenix, AZ, Courtney Winberry and husband Lonnie, of Phoenix, AZ, Lisa Keuhl and husband Brian of Omaha, NE, Kayla Meisinger of Plattsmouth, NE, Jessica Jamison of Omaha, NE, Morgan Grot and husband Stephan of Omaha, NE, Erika Conces and husband Colin of Omaha, NE, Max Meisinger of Prairie Village, KS, twelve great grandchildren: Bryson, Ashlynn, and Caleb Winterstein, Avery Winberry, Carson, Kade, and Quinn Keuhl, Madyson Bloomquist, Jaxon Rafiner, Jones and Adeline Grot, Zelie Conces, sister-in-law: Irene Patrias and husband Pat of Hacienda Heights, CA, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Kelly and Blanche Rhoden, husband: Lyle Meisinger, sister: Mildred Senf, and two brothers: Darwin Rhoden and Jearl Rhoden. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, NE with Pastor Donna Boren officiating and Terry Little as vocalist. Visitations will be from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M., with family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, September 1, 2014 at Roby Funeral Home. Final Resting Place is at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE. Memorials to St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
