HARRY T. DANNER 1945 – 2025 Harry T. Danner, age 80 of Plattsmouth, NE peacefully passed surrounded by family on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at his residence. He was born on April 17, 1945, to Ralph David Danner Sr. and Connie Gladys (Moody) Danner in Possum Holler, TN. Harry was raised and schooled in Wilmington, DE. When Harry was seventeen, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and he proudly served his country for twenty years and two months. Harry had basic training at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS, and over his career Harry was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, TX, Forbes Field Air National Guard Base in Topeka, KS, Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, NE, Castle Air Force Base, CA, and then he was TDY in Thailand and Turkey. Harry met the love of his life Judy Ann French and they were later married on October 18, 1963 in Lexington, NE. Harry and Judy made their home and raised their daughters where ever Harry was stationed until they settled in Plattsmouth in 1973. Harry was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lepert Wolever V.F.W. Post #2543, Hugh J. Kerns American Legion Post #56 all of Plattsmouth, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3912 of Bellevue. He is survived by his wife: Judy Danner of Plattsmouth, NE; his three daughters: Elise Danner and her husband Dean Sheaffer of Papillion, NE, Stacey Keast and her husband Troy of Macedonia, IA, and Debra Danner of Plattsmouth, NE; eight grandchildren: Steven Danner-Burch, Eric Burch and his wife Amanda, David Kamphaus, Jacob Kamphaus, Joshua Keast and his wife Sarah, Ryan Keast and his wife Kalynn, Brianne Salerno and her husband Duke, and Madison Danner; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; his brother: Ralph Danner Jr. and his wife Alice of Frankfurt, DE; his two sisters: Louise Franklin and her husband James of Smyrna, DE and Margaret Kuhlman of Pheonix, AZ; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Harry is preceded in death by his parents: Ralph and Connie Danner, his brother: Clarence Danner, and his great granddaughter: Khloe Kamphaus. Visitations will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, NE. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at First United Methodist Church in Plattsmouth Pastor Lee Wigert officiating, Madison Danner as vocalist, and Donna Glynn as organist. The Pallbearers will be Steven Burch, Eric Burch, Josuah Keast, Ryan Keast, David Kamphaus, Jacob Kamphaus, and Chris French. The Honorary Pallbearers will be the IMT and crew of the RC135. Military Rites will be conducted by the Offutt Air Force Base Funeral Honor Guard, American Legion Post #1 Honor Guard, and Lepert Wolever V.F.W. Post #2543. His Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. The family suggests memorials the Air Force Aid Society at Offutt Air Force Base.
