ISABELLA MARY NAYLOR April 15, 1938 – January 11, 2025 Isabella “Micky” Mary (Allen) Naylor, age 86 of Bellevue, NE peacefully passed away on January 11, 2025 at Hillcrest Shadow Lake in Papillion, NE. Isabella was born in Burlington, VT to Grace Gertrude (Ryan) and Arthur Henry Allen on April 15, 1938. She was known by family and friends as Micky and she had a twin sister. She spent her early years in Burlington, VT but moved to New Hampshire with her parents before starting a family of her own. Micky was the mother of four children when she married the love of her life, Donald Eugene Naylor. The two were blessed with an additional child and were married for 46 years. Her life was not defined by formal education but by the wisdom gained through hard work, resilience, and determination. She wasn’t able to attend high school because of family demands, however, she learned many life skills through a tireless drive to care for her family. She also gained experience while working at Mattel Toys and Borden Chemicals. Later in life, Micky became her own boss by building a successful house cleaning business. She had several secrets to getting stains out of any material and loved interacting with her clients each week. Micky was instrumental in shaping the lives of so many people and found her calling when serving in the children’s ministry at church. For many years, she taught Sunday School classes, led the Cubbies during AWANA, and organized crafts during Vacation Bible School. When she wasn’t serving at church, she spent her free time preparing crafts and activities for family night at Fazoli’s and attending the extra-curricular activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She touched the lives of numerous children in her lifetime. She loved all types of crafts and scrapbooking and enjoyed sharing her creativity with others. She also had a green thumb, and could salvage any plant, regardless of how far gone it seemed. She had a hard time relaxing and liked to stay active by cleaning, organizing and feeding the neighborhood birds. Micky was joyfully welcomed into heaven by her husband, Donald Naylor; son, Bruce Bond; daughter, Deborah Wesala; twin sister, Arabella Phillips; honorary son, Perry Pence; daughter-in-law, Brenda Bond; grandson, Larry Horner; and many other loved ones. Those left to honor her memory and legacy include her three daughters: Cheryl (Gary) Glasser of Menifee, CA; Dar (Chopper) Block of Marble, NC; Tammy (Tom) Bosley of Bellevue, NE; Niece, Martha (Larry) Russell of Davenport, FL; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and countless extended family members and friends. Though her presence will be deeply missed, Micky will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and willingness to help in any way possible. The joy she imparted will be carried on through the lives she touched into eternity. A celebration to honor Micky’s life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Columban Foreign Mission Society, 1902 Calhoun St., Bellevue, NE. Her final resting place will be Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE. Memorials donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
