JEREMY MICHAEL LARSEN 1992 – 2023 Jeremy Michael Larsen age 31 of Plattsmouth, NE tragically passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born on February 15, 1992 to Michael Glen Larsen and Jennifer “Jenny” Louise (Porter) Larsen in Omaha, NE. Jeremy was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth, NE through the sixth grade. He attended seventh grade in Bellevue, NE and Jeremy graduated from Bellevue East High School with the class of 2010. Jeremy was active in powerlifting and select baseball in high school. After graduating from high school, Jeremy began training and working as an electrician. He met the love of his life, Desiree Noel O’Brien and they were later married on August 6, 2017 in Hillsboro, OH. Jeremy and Desiree made their home in Plattsmouth. Jeremy enjoyed traveling, fishing, and hunting. Jeremy is survived by his wife: Desiree Larsen of Plattsmouth, NE; mother: Jennifer “Jenny” Larsen of Plattsmouth, NE; his father: Michael Larsen and his wife Sasha of Dearborn, MO; two sisters: Jade Punteney of Dearborn, MO; Hannah Larsen of Dearborn, MO; his aunt: Jolene “Jodi” Nickels and her husband Buck of Plattsmouth, NE; four uncles: Jim Poole and his significant other Dianna Strokan of Omaha, NE; Mick Porter and his wife Lori of Cozad, NE; Tim Porter and his wife Sue of Plattsmouth, NE; Donnie Larsen and his wife Kathy of Papillion, NE; five aunts-in-law: Karen Lord of Valparaiso, FL; Carolyn Carr and her husband Richard of Grand Island, NE; Deanna Perry of South High Ponny, AR; Mary Pohlmeier of Bellevue, NE; Terri Dittemore of Plattsmouth, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ed and Jill Porter, paternal grandparents: Merle and Winnie Fivecoat and Glen Larsen, his cousin: Adam Porter, and his spouse’s parents: Terry and Kathy O’Brien. Visitations will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at First Christian Church in Plattsmouth with Pastor Michael Lincoln officiating. The Pallbearers will be Dustin Burgess, Brent Burnham, Jeff Burnham, Tyler Kennedy, Kendrick Parker, Brandon Paulson, and Steve Rye. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Matt Cook, Tabitha Maddy, Brandon Nauman, Jason O’Brien, and Keith O’Brien. His Final Resting Place will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Nehawka. The family suggests Memorials to the Open Door Mission or to the Francis House.
