KENNETH JOSEPH GRADOVILLE 1951 – 2026 Kenneth “Ken” Joseph Gradoville, age 74 of Plattsmouth, NE, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Ken was born on July 21, 1951, to Joseph Franklin Gradoville and Lois Marie (Peklo) Gradoville in Omaha, NE. He was raised and educated in Plattsmouth, a community he dearly loved and proudly called home. Ken attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School and later graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the Class of 1969. He met the love of his life, Bonnie Sue Ward, and the two were united in marriage on June 19, 1971, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair, NE. Together, Ken and Bonnie made their home in Plattsmouth, where they lovingly raised their three children and built a life centered on family, faith, and community. Throughout his working years, Ken dedicated himself to serving others. He worked as a real estate agent, residential property manager, and salesman, and later found great fulfillment as a school bus driver for the Plattsmouth and Conestoga Public Schools, a role that allowed him to care for and connect with local families and students. Ken was deeply involved in his community and church. He was a devoted member of the Church of the Holy Spirit and served faithfully on the Parish Council. He was also an honorary member of the Plattsmouth Rescue Squad, a former member of the City of Plattsmouth Parks Board for ten years, served as a coach and Commissioner for twelve years with Plattsmouth Baseball and Softball Parents. Ken’s life was marked by service, generosity, and a genuine love for the people around him. Ken survived by his wife: Bonnie Gradoville of Plattsmouth, NE; his son: Joseph “Joe” Gradoville and his wife Keri of Plattsmouth, NE; his two daughters: Amy Keller and her husband Jeff of Irwin, IA and Jennifer Gardner and her husband Stephen of Omaha, NE; eight grandchildren: Dakota Jones and his wife Kylee, Colby Keller, Connor Keller, Caden Keller, Ryan Gradoville, Joshua Gradoville, Noah Gardner, and Kailey Gradoville; his mother: Lois Gradoville of Plattsmouth, NE; his three siblings: Susan Wiley and her husband Steve of Bennington, NE, Daniel Gradoville and his wife Jane of Council Bluffs, IA, and Judy Herrley and her husband Pat of La Vista, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Joseph Gradoville, grandparents: Thomas and Anna Gradoville and Joseph and Millie Peklo, his niece: Jill Bierma, and his brother-in-law: Jeff Bierma, nephew: Mike Savage, and brother-in-law: Dave DeBolt. Visitations will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., with a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Church of The Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Church of The Holy Spirit with Fr. Sean Timmerman officiating, Dan Rubin as acolyte, Sue Wiley as lector, Terry Little as vocalist, and Laurie Hajek-Jones as organist. The Pallbearers will be Ken’s grandchildren: Dakota Jones, Colby Keller, Connor Keller, Caden Keller, Ryan Gradoville, Joshua Gradoville, Noah Gardner, and Kailey Gradoville. His final resting place will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE. Memorials for Masses or to the Family (where a suitable charity will be chosen at a later date).
