MARGIE ELLEN “MARGE” WILSON 1933 – 2026 Margie Ellen “Marge” (Kief) Wilson, age 93 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Masonic Home in Plattsmouth. Marge was born January 20, 1933 at Old Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE the daughter of Emelia Emma Kief and Willis Rufus Fitzgerald. Marge attended Plattsmouth city schools and graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1951. On November 24, 1951, Marge married Ronald Rex Wilson at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Plattsmouth. Prior to her marriage and shortly after, Marge worked in the secretarial pool at Mutual of Omaha. Rex and Marge made their lives in Plattsmouth where they raised their four children: Cheryl, Tammy, Mark and Marcy. They owned and operated Wilson Bookkeeping and Tax Service for many years. Both Rex and Marge were active in Plattsmouth Community Schools as band parents and classroom volunteers. Marge was a volunteer at Under His Wings Consignment Shop in Plattsmouth. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Plattsmouth. Survivors are her daughter: Tammy (Dr. Steve) Russell, Lincoln, NE; son: Mark Wilson, Plattsmouth; grandchildren: Jill (Jeff) Hanson, Colorado Springs, CO; Jason Wilson, Plattsmouth; Traci (Brent) Corbin, Colorado Springs, CO; Trevor Wilson, Lincoln, NE; Audrey (John Harrison) Wilson, Plattsmouth; Thomas Hicks, Jr., Plattsmouth, and Austin Hicks (fiancé Raegan Jagow), Bellevue, NE; great grand-children: Owen and Lily Hanson, Blake and Pete Corbin; son in law: Thomas (Stacey) Hicks, Sr., Plattsmouth; brother: Rick (Judy) DeRosa, Woodland, WA. Preceding Marge in death was her husband, Rex, daughters: Cheryl Wilson and Marcy Hicks; mother: Emelia (Kief) DeRosa, father: Willis Fitzgerald, stepfather: John DeRosa, and brother: Michael DeRosa and stepsister: Marilyn Flaner. A Celebration Visitation will be held at Roby Funeral Home on Sunday, June 14, 2026 with the family greeting friends from 3PM to 6PM. Her Final Resting Place will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
