Patricia "Pat" Ann Spellerberg

PATRICIA ANN SPELLERBERG 1933 - 2015 Patricia "Pat" Ann (Vogltance) Spellerberg age 82 of Bellevue, NE formerly of Dodge, NE passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE. She was born on July 4, 1933, to Pete Frank and Vlasta Leona (Mestl) Vogltance in Dodge, NE. Pat grew up in Dodge, where she worked at her family's Vogltance Store and graduated from Dodge High School with the class of 1951. She met and married Joseph Spellerberg and was a stay at home mom and homemaker. She later worked with her brother and wife at Vogies Quilt Shop in Dodge, then moved to Omaha, NE in February of 2014. Pat was a member of the Altar Society of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge. She is survived by her six daughters: Cynthia Steffensmeier and husband Thomas of Bellevue, NE; Theresa Rockwell and husband Scott of Gretna, NE; Beverly Lueshen and husband Kerwin of Pierce, NE; Susan Kroenke and fiancée Douglas Mustard of Gretna, NE; Patricia Stevens and husband Mark of Elkhorn, NE; Jacqueline Ady and husband William of Bennington, NE; two sons: Michael Spellerberg of Omaha, NE; Mark Spellerberg and wife Fay of Albuquerque, NM; eighteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister: Judy Roby and husband Keith of Plattsmouth, NE; brother: David Vogltance and wife June of Dodge, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents: Pete and Vlasta Vogltance, and two sisters: Joyce Jerman and LaVane Heimann. Visitations will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge. Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 22, 2015, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge with Father Andy Phan officiating; Alex Rockwell, Fay Spellerberg, and Brianne Steffensmeier as lectors; Ensign Mitchell Ian Bell and Dorothy Kreikemeier as vocalists; and Joan Brune as organist. Final Resting Place will be at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in Dodge. The Pallbearers will be John Bell, Ensign Mitchell Ian Bell, Dr. Jon Kroenke, Kyle Kroenke, Ross Kroenke, Dr. Eric Lueshen, Alex Rockwell, Nathan Rockwell, and Evan Spellerberg. The family suggests memorials for Masses, St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church or School, Nebraska Humane Society, or Human Rights Campaign.
