PATRICIA ANN GAWRYCK 1939 – 2021 Patricia Ann (Foran) Gawryck age 82 of Murray, NE, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Prestige Care Center of Plattsmouth, NE. She was born on February 28, 1939 to William “Bill” Charles and Elizabeth “Betty” Ann (Coschka) Foran in Omaha, NE. Patricia was raised and schooled in Omaha and she graduated from South High School with the class of 1957. She spent most of her childhood summers at her grandparent’s resort in Otter Tail County, MN. Patricia married Daniel “Dan” Joseph Gawryck on March 24, 1971 in Plattsmouth and they made their home and raised their family in Murray. Patricia worked at Jostens in Omaha and she owned her own private home health care business for over ten years. Patricia loved her children, but often said if she knew her grandchildren were going to be this much fun, she would have skipped her kids and went right to them. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a way of telling you what you needed to hear or what she thought you needed to hear. She was for most of her grandkids “their person”, they could always go to grandma. Patricia was an avid reader, loved to go to the movies, travel and enjoyed crafting. She will be missed by everyone that her life touched. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. Patricia is survived by her husband of 50 years: Dan Gawryck of Murray, NE; five children: Michael Gillogly and wife Linda of Omaha, NE; Cheryl Johnson and husband Neil of Union, NE; Dan Gawryck Jr. of Cedar Park, TX; Laura Weatherby and husband Troy of Plattsmouth, NE; and Amy Gawryck of Nebraska City, NE; seven grandchildren: Michelle, Nicole, Nolan, Corrie, Cortney, Rebecca, and Nathan; fifteen great grandchildren: McKenna, Mariah, Miley, McKinley, Eli, Easton, Emma, Colton, Caydence, ShahLynn, Lucy, Emmett, Sloane, Wren, and baby Weatherby; her sister: Linda Meyers and husband Bernie of Papillion, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Betty Foran, daughter: Beth Ann Gillogly, and her two brothers: Bill Foran and Steven Foran. Visitations will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M., on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth with Father Michael Houlihan officiating, Karen Schreiber as lector, Leo Sand as acolyte, Eamon Hajek-Jones as vocalist, and Laurie Hajek-Jones as organist. The Pallbearers will be Michael Gillogly, Chad Meyers, Tim Meyers, Nolan Snyder, Nathan Weatherby, and Troy Weatherby. Her Final Resting Place will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Plattsmouth. The family suggests Memorials to Church of the Holy Spirit or for Masses.
