Randal Scott Edmonds

Randal "Randy" Scott Edmonds was born to Roy Dale and Rose Ilene (Jeanneret) Edmonds on September 26, 1963 in Omaha, NE and departed this life on October 11, 2017 in Plattsmouth, NE having attained the age of 54 years, 15 days. Randy was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth and he attended and graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1981. After graduating High School, he worked for Laborers Local Union 1140. He attended Metropolitan Community College and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in 1993. He then went to work for Cox Communications as a lineman for more than 20 years, then began working for T J Cable of Lincoln, NE, and has resided in Plattsmouth. Randy was a member in good standing of Plattsmouth Masonic Lodge #6 A.F. and A.M. Randy was a very selfless person and always extended a helping hand to others who always put his kids and grandkids first. He was an excellent teacher with a variety of skills that influenced many friends and family to become who they are today. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need of it. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish. He showed love to everyone that crossed his path. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Mason Scott Edmonds. Randy is survived by his daughter: Miranda Edmonds of Plattsmouth, NE; three sons: Nic Edmonds and wife Jennifer of Bellevue, NE; Elijah Edmonds and wife Demi of Plattsmouth, NE; Trevor Edmonds and wife Lorelei of Bellevue, NE; six grandchildren: Cale Edmonds, Jaxson Edmonds, Aubrey Edmonds, Grayson Edmonds, Nova Edmonds, and Randal Edmonds; significant other: Lisa Hadley of Plattsmouth, NE; parents: Roy and Rose Edmonds of Plattsmouth, NE; two brothers: Raymond Edmonds and wife Tracy of Council Bluffs, IA; Rodney Edmonds and wife Renee of Brock, NE; three sisters: Rita Chapman and husband Wayne of Louisville, NE: Ruth Lemieux and husband Patrick of Crestview, FL: Rhonda Salazar and husband David of Plattsmouth, NE: numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of Friends. Visitations will be from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M., Friday, October 13, 2017 from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M., with family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Masonic Lodge Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday, October 13, 2017 at Roby Funeral Home.
