Roni Jo Hyde

RONI JO HYDE 1967 – 2024 Roni Jo Hyde age 56 of Louisville, NE passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE. She was born on November 10, 1967 to Robert Henry Hyde Sr. and Ruth Lucille (Conn) Hyde in Omaha, NE. Roni was raised and schooled in Omaha and she graduated from Ralston High School with the class of 1986. After graduating from high school, she attended and graduated from Creighton University in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. In 2012, she completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University. Roni met the love of her life in 1996, Ann Krejci, and they finally made their marriage legal on July 9, 2022 in Crete, NE. Roni loved her memories of living on the farm near Nickerson, NE and her father teaching her how to swim in Maple Creek. After the Hyde’s moved to Omaha, Roni loved and had many fond memories of her “Karen Western” friends. She was a proud Ralston High School graduate and she loved playing volleyball and other sports. She has numerous high school friends that she continued to be in touch with over the years. Roni loved playing softball for “Rosie’s Rebbelles.” She was proud of her Polish heritage and she adored her family. Roni was especially proud of their son, Zeke, and watching him in the Doane Choir and with his fraternity Alpha Pi Epsilon. Roni had a great sense of humor, a contagious smile, an absolute love of nature, she enjoyed hiking and bike riding, and she always would “pay it forward." Roni is survived by her wife: Ann Krejci of Louisville, NE; her son: Zekiel “Zeke” Krejci-Hyde of Louisville, NE; her mother: Ruth Hyde of Omaha, NE; her two brothers: Robert “Bob” Hyde Jr. and his wife Marne of Elkhorn, NE and Raymond “Ray” Hyde of Omaha, NE; her beloved in-laws the Krejci family; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her father Robert Hyde Sr. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., on Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Rock Hill Windmill Event Center in Plattsmouth with Carole Patrick officiating. ***Please wear something yellow and please dress very casual*** The Honorary Pallbearers will be P.J.
