STANLEY WALTER WOLSKI JR. 1938 – 2026 Stanley “Stan” Walter Wolski Jr., age 87 of Plattsmouth, NE passed on Monday, July 13, 2026 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha surrounded by the memories of a life rooted in family, community, and simple joys. Stan was born on November 20, 1938 the son of Stanley Walter Wolski Sr. and Rosie Iris (Stull) Wolski in Omaha, NE. Stanley grew up in rural Plattsmouth, where he attended Stull School from first through eighth grade alongside many of his cousins. The school held special significance for his family, having been founded by his great-grandfather. Throughout his life, Stanley worked in a variety of roles, including at Merritt's Beach, the Anderson Box Company in Bellevue, NE, Shoppette at Offutt Air Force Base, and with Scott Cundall Auctioneering. He was known for his strong work ethic and the friendships he made along the way. Stanley had many passions that brought him happiness. He was especially fond of 1957 Chevrolets and proudly owned two of them over the years. He enjoyed collecting John Deere toy replicas, adored all dogs, and looked forward to traveling to the Amana Colonies, where he developed lasting friendships with many of the local shop owners. As a child, Stanley was baptized at First Presbyterian Church in Plattsmouth. As an adult, he was a longtime member of First Christian Church in Plattsmouth. Stan was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #365 in Plattsmouth. He is remembered by his sister, Rosemary Parriott; his nieces, Kim (Charlie) Konkler and Sheryl (Shane) Parshall; his nephew, Corey (Dee Dee) Parriott; his great-nieces and great-nephews; many cousins; and his close friends, Scott and Kim Cundall, along with many other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Sr. and Rosie Wolski, and his brother-in-law, Donald Parriott. Visitations will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Roby Funeral Home. His Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
