BEVERLY ANN SMITH 1936 – 2022 Beverly “Bev” Ann (Hoult) Smith age 85 of Omaha, NE passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at The Heritage at Legacy in Omaha. Bev was born on July 21, 1936 to Samuel "Sam" Joseph Hoult and Gladys Mae (Bell) Hoult in Omaha, NE. She was raised and educated in Omaha. Bev graduated from Lothrop Elementary School and North High School with the class of 1954. Bev met Edward “Eddie” David Smith and they were married on September 18, 1954 in Omaha. Bev and Eddie made their home, raised their children, and enjoyed over 50 wonderful wedded years in Omaha. Bev worked in banking in Omaha for thirty years. Bev loved to travel and as a result she became a Certified Travel Professional as a second career. The international travel brought her great joy. Bev was a proud member of North High School Alumni. She is survived by son: Terry Smith and his wife Kathy of Omaha, NE; her daughter: Ginger Smith of Omaha, NE; son: Tony Smith and his wife Sue of Murdock, NE; son: Tim Smith and his husband Mark Collins of Bennington, NE; seven grandchildren: Devan, Jerry, Jacob, Matthew, Kayla, Meighan, and Dawson; ten great grandchildren: Cameron, Katie, Rowen, Emily, Ryder, Mason, Paisley, Dylan, Kendall, and Alice; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Bev was preceded in death by her parents: Sam and Gladys Hoult, her sister: Lena Sterling, and her husband: Eddie Smith. A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M, on August 2, 2022 at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Omaha. The Family suggests Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association.
