CLINTON JEFFERY RUSSELL 1960 – 2014 Clinton "Jeff" Jeffery Russell age 53 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Omaha, NE. He was born on August 16, 1960 to Bobbie Jo and Barbara Jean (Hoenig) Russell in Fort Madison, IA. Jeff was raised and schooled in Fort Madison and graduated from Fort Madison High School with the class of 1978. After high school, he enlisted in the US Navy and served his country for four and a half years. After serving in the Navy, he returned to Fort Madison. Jeff met Elizabeth "Liz" Lorene Cummings and they moved to Sydney, NE and were later married on September 27, 1984 in Sterling, CO. Jeff and Liz traveled throughout Colorado, Nevada, and Nebraska, finally settling in Plattsmouth, NE in 1992. Jeff is survived by his wife: Liz Russell of Plattsmouth, NE, two sisters: Kelly Russell of Fort Madison, IA, Billie Jo Russell of Fort Madison, IA, one nephew: Tyler Russell of Fort Madison, IA, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Bobbie (Died: March 21, 2008) and Barbara (Died: June 11, 2014) Russell and his grandparents: Moore and Josephine Rockhold and Paul and Louise Hoenig. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Lepert Wolever V.F.W. Post #2543 in Plattsmouth, NE. Memorials to the family.
