CONNIE SUE BARNARD 1954 – 2021 Connie Sue (Wentz) Barnard, age 66 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at her residence. She was born on December 5, 1954 to Leslie Francis Sr. and Elaine Joyce (Domenosky) Wentz in Nuremberg, Germany. Connie was raised and schooled in many different locations while her father served his country in the U.S. Army. In 1969 the Wentz’s settled in Plattsmouth, where Connie graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1973. After graduating from high school, she worked in Omaha, NE. Connie met and later married Lynn Robert Barnard and they made their home and raised their children in Plattsmouth. Connie operated a day care for many years in Plattsmouth until she retired in 2009. Connie is survived by her son: Gabriel Timm of Plattsmouth, NE; her daughter: Melissa Besch of Plattsmouth, NE; five grandchildren: Blake Norton and wife Katie, Daylen Timm, Mason Norton, Jacob Timm, and Isaac Timm; three brothers: Larry Wentz and wife Sue of Schell City, MO; Leslie Wentz Jr. and wife Debbie of Plattsmouth, NE; P.J. Wentz of Plattsmouth, NE; four sisters: her twin sister: Bonnie Rader and husband Curt of Plattsmouth, NE; Vicky Adams and husband Robin of Humbird, WI; Felicia Wentz of Black River Falls, WI; Debra Tucker of Black River Falls, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leslie Sr. and Joyce Wentz, husband: Lynn Barnard, daughter: Jennifer Elaine Timm, granddaughter: Gabrielle “Gabby” Ramirez, and her grandson: Ryan Norton. A Celebration of Life with be held at 3:00 P.M., on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Lepert Wolever V.F.W. Post #2543 in Plattsmouth.
