DOROTHY KAY BREDFELDT 1935 - 2014 Dorothy Kay (Underwood) Bredfeldt age 79 of Bellevue, NE passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Plattsmouth, NE. She was born on October 19, 1935 to Everette Clarence and Josephine Eleanor (Moseby) Underwood in Junction City, KS. She was raised and schooled in Hoisington, KS and graduated from Hoisington High School. After high school, Josephine married and moved to Hutchison, KS were she was a stay at home mom. Dorothy then divorced, after a time she met Ronald Thayne Underwood and they were later married on December 17, 1983 in Bellevue, NE. Josephine and Ronald made their home in Council Bluffs, IA and in 1980 they moved to Bellevue, NE and has lived there ever since. Dorothy is survived by her husband: Ronald Bredfeldt of Bellevue, NE, three sons: Carl Eugene Mohr and wife Karen of Redondo, CA, David Scott Mohr of Crete, NE, Samuel Dean Mohn and wife Christine of Omaha, NE, five grandchildren, three brothers: William Underwood and wife Doris of Council Bluffs, IA, Jay Underwood of Council Bluffs, IA, Bruce Brack and wife Priscilla of Mullinville, KS, two sisters: Beverly Nuss of Hays, KS, Lynn Litson and husband Bob of La Crosse, KS, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Everette Underwood and Josephine Brack, three sisters: Eleanor Hospodka, Sally Basham, Barbra Underwood, brother: Robert Underwood, and two sons: Kenneth Mohr and Joseph Mohr. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 7, 2014 at Westlawn Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha, NE with Pastor Michael Lincoln officiating. Interment will be at Westlawn Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha, NE. The family suggests memorial to the Salvation Army and/or the Open Door Mission of Omaha, NE.
