GLENNA GERALDINE NASH 1925 – 2022 Glenna Geraldine (Dorman) Nash, age 96 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her daughter’s residence in Plattsmouth. She was born November 19, 1925 to Fred H. and Pearl L. (Weston) Dorman in Falls City, NE. Glenna was raised and schooled in Falls City. After she completed her freshman years of high school, Glenna’s mother Pearl had a stroke and she stayed home to care for her. She met the love of her life, Wayne Nash and they later married on December 16, 1943 in Hiawatha, KS, because Kansas didn’t have marriage age limit. Glenna and Wayne raised their seven children together and they were married for forty-six years when Wayne passed away. She was a hard working homemaker and a loving and caring wife, mom, and grandma. Glenna is survived by two sons: Steve Nash of Plattsmouth, NE; Tim Nash of Plattsmouth, NE; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; half-sister: Frances (Portrey) Davis of Falls City, NE; two half-brothers: Frank Portrey of South Dakota; Gerome Yuetter of Branson, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Pearl Dorman, her husband: Wayne Nash, four daughters: Sharon Nash, Sue Stonerook, Norma Walden, and Lola Mink, her son: Daniel “Packy” Wayne Nash, five grandchildren: Donnie Stonerook, Leah Stonerook, Chris Stonerook, Cindy Zilda, and Marvin Mink, her brother: Wayne Dorman, two half-brothers: Bud Portrey and Tom Houston, and her half-sister: Angela Shepperd. Visitations will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Roby Funeral Home with Rev. N. I. “Bud” Bunn officiating. The Pallbearers will be Mike Douglas, Chris Kindelin, Tommy Koike, Justin Mink, Timothy Nash, and Mike Stonerook. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Angie Martinez, Charlie Mink, and Stephen Nash. Her Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. Memorials to the Family (A suitable charity will be chosen at a later date).
