JERRY RAY JURA 1956 – 2022 Jerry Ray Jura age 66 of Bellevue, NE passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at his residence. Jerry was born on May 19, 1956 to Franklin and Barbara Ellen (Eledge) Jura in Omaha, NE. He was raised and schooled in Omaha and Jerry graduated from South High School. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and Jerry proudly served his country for eight years during the Vietnam War. After serving his country, Jerry worked as a repairman for Wheelers, Ray’s Auto, and later the Bemis Company. While working as a repairman, Jerry went to school and he became a licensed electrician. Then Jerry worked as a self-employed licensed electrician. He is survived by his four sisters: Connie Wigmore of Omaha, NE; Beverly Oswald and her husband Dan of Papillion, NE; Laura Dillon of Omaha, NE; Larae Jura of Bellevue, NE; his two brothers: Frank Jura and his wife Peggy of Bellevue, NE; David Jura and his wife Kellie of Bellevue, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents: Franklin and Barbara Jura, his sister: Tracy Poudel, and two brothers: Ronald Jura and Donald Jura. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE. Military Rites will be conducted by the Nebraska Army National Guard, Military Funeral Honor Guard. His Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. Memorials to the Family.
