LINDA MARIE KONFRST 1942 - 2015 Linda Marie (Long) Konfrst age 73 of Murray, NE passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2015 at her residence. She was born on March 17, 1942 to Howard Jacob and Lorraine Margaret (Hansen) Long in Blair, NE. Linda was raised and schooled in Blair through the sixth grade, when she moved with her family to Plattsmouth, NE. She graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1959. She met John Ronald Konfrst in high school and they were later married on September 19, 1960 in Idaho Falls, ID. Linda and John made their home and raised their children in Omaha, NE from 1960 until 1968, when they moved to Murray. Linda was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker. She had worked as a secretary at Conestoga Elementary School for twenty five years until she retired in 2002. Linda was a member of Murray Presbyterian Church in Murray. She is survived by her husband: John Konfrst of Murray, NE, two sons: Daniel Konfrst and wife Angie of Taylor, MI, Gary Konfrst and wife Jill of Pella, IA, daughter: Nadine Anglim and husband Mike of Golden, MO, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister: Carol Gresham and husband Dale of Phoenix, AZ, and beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Howard and Lorraine Long. The family will honor her request for a private memorial service. The family suggests memorial to Murray Presbyterian Church.
