MARY KATHLEEN WONDRA March 15, 1948 – October 24, 2017 Mary "Kathy" Kathleen Wondra age 69 of Bellevue, NE formerly of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Nebraska Medicine – Omaha in Omaha, NE. She was born on March 15, 1948 to Charles "Chic" and Floretta "Flo" Elma (McCartney) Wondra in Omaha, NE. Kathy was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth and she graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1966. After graduating from high school, Kathy attended and graduated from Kearney State Teacher College with a bachelor's degree in teaching. Kathy taught Physical Education at the Plattsmouth High School. Then she worked for Northwestern Bell laying cable and later she worked in the office as a customer relations specialist, until she retired in 2002. Kathy was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #365 Auxiliary in Plattsmouth and the A.B.W.A. (American Business Women's Association). She is survived by her sister: Janice Jensen of Plattsmouth, NE; brother: Sherrill Wondra and wife Jackie of Pahrump, NV; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents: Charles "Chic" and Floretta "Flo" Wondra and her brother: Charles L. Wondra and his wife Kathleen "Kathy". A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 27, 2017 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth with Pastor Michael Lincoln officiating.
