TODD ALAN FERDIG 1964 – 2016 Todd Alan Ferdig age 52 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, NE. He was the first son born to Robert Joe and Sandra Lee (Meyer) Ferdig on January 23, 1964 in Sioux City, IA. Todd was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth and graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1982. Todd mostly did construction work for a living. He loved and enjoyed his four children very much, especially the years his son Russell wrestled. He liked bowling, baseball, and Dodge Charger cars. Todd was the strongest and sincere person who fought the hardest battle ever, his three year battle with cancer. Todd is survived by his daughter: Holley Morton and husband Ken of Omaha, NE; three sons: Russell Ferdig of Pleasant Hope, MO; Nick Ferdig and wife Kayla of Franklin, NH; Dallas March of Plattsmouth, NE; grandson: Tauren Ferdig; his parents: Robert and Sandra Ferdig of Plattsmouth, NE; two sisters: Tammy Benoit and husband Robert of Plattsmouth, NE; Therese Cahill and husband Denis of Papillion, NE; brother: Troy Ferdig and wife Michelle Hughes of Bennington, NE; his children's mothers: Tammy Choate, Connie March; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Leonard and Jhannah Ferdig, maternal grandfather: Raymond Meyer, and maternal grandmother: Jeannette Kunselman and her husband Norm. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth with Pastor Michael McGregor officiating. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
