ZELLA ADDAMA BLOCK 1939 – 2020 Zella Addama (Dillon) Block age 80 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Prestige Care Center in Plattsmouth surrounded by her family. She was born March 19, 1939 to James Garland and Elcie Cora (Yates) Dillon in Akron, OH. She was raised and schooled in the Plattsmouth and Murray, NE area. She met James William Block in Murray and they were later married on February 22, 1964 at Christ Lutheran Church in Louisville, NE. Zella and Jim made their home in Bellevue, NE. They moved to North Carolina in 1970, where Zella worked making baseball jerseys at Hilltop Manufacturing in Andrews, NC. In 1975, Zella and Jim moved back to Plattsmouth where they made their home and raised their children. Zella was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and a homemaker. Zella is survived by two daughters: Deb McIntire and husband Rick of Nehawka, NE; Dorothy Bergmann and husband Thomas of Plattsmouth, NE; two sons: James “Chopper” Block and wife Darlene of Plattsmouth, NE; Patrick Block of Plattsmouth, NE; seven grandchildren: Justin Block, Michael McIntire and wife Candice, Ashley (Bergmann) Carroll and husband Dylan, Sarah (McIntire) Leasure and husband Melvin, Tristyn Block, Shaun Bergmann, and Shyan Block; nine great grandchildren: Cristian, Elliot, Chase, Ender, RyAnne, Kylie, Gibson, Emersyn, and Cadence; her brother: Jack Dillon and wife Barbara of Kansas City, KS; her sister: Ruby Schmidt of Omaha, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Elcie Dillon, four brothers: Roy, Paul, Douglas, and Ronald Dillon, and her brother-in-law: Ronald Schmidt. Visitations for Zella will be from 1-9 P.M., with the family present from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Roby Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Spanjers officiating. The Pallbearers will be Justin Block, Michael McIntire, Shaun Bergmann, Dylan Carroll, Cristian McIntire, and Chase McIntire. Her Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. Memorials to the Family (A suitable charity will be chosen at a later date). A Funeral Luncheon will be held at 1100 Race Street in Plattsmouth following the burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
