CHRISTOPHER FRANK SAND 1974 – 2021 Christopher “Chris” Frank Sand age 46 of Louisville, NE passed away in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, October 3, 2021 near Springfield, NE. Chris was born on December 1, 1974 to Leo "Butch" Raymond and Betty Jean (Halferty) Sand in Omaha, NE. He was raised in the Plattsmouth and attended St. John the Baptist School and later he graduated from Conestoga High School with the class of 1992. Chris was a part of the Cass County community, he worked as a meat cutter at the local grocery stores and most recently worked at Lyman Richey Sand & Gravel. He met the love of his life Nancy Leigh Victor and they later married on July 30, 2016 in Louisville. Chris and Nancy made their home in Louisville. He loved his wife and his family, especially family celebrations and BBQs. Chris enjoyed playing pool, road trip adventures, fishing with his wife, swapping stories, and spending time with his many friends and extended family. Chris is survived by his wife: Nancy Sand of Louisville, NE; his father: Leo “Butch” Sand of Plattsmouth, NE; his sister: Rachel Frazier and husband Brad of Council Bluffs, IA; his niece: Alesha Johnson; paternal grandmother: Darlene Marie Sand of Council Bluffs, IA; mother-in-law: Diane Hughes of Wahoo, NE; brother-in-law: Jason Victor of La Vista, NE; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sand. Visitations will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M., on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Church of the Holy Spirit. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth with Father Michael Houlihan officiating, Ken Aylor as acolyte, and Terry Little as vocalist. His Final Resting Place will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Plattsmouth. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials to the Family (A suitable charity will be chosen at a later date).
