DONALD LEE GRAZIER 1932 – 2019 Donald Lee Grazier age 86 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at The Nebraska Masonic Home in Plattsmouth. He was born on December 25, 1932 to Harry Norman and Katherine Vernice (Yearout) Grazier in Kansas City, KS. Don was raised and schooled in Kansas City and he graduated from Wyandotte High School with the class of 1950. Then he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and he proudly served his country for twenty one years. Don met Barbara Jean Bengtson and they were later married on August 10, 1952 in Kansas City, KS. While serving his country Don attended and graduated from Officer Candidate School and he rose to the rank of Lieutenant. After retiring from the Navy, he worked in the saving and loan industry. Don moved to The Nebraska Masonic Home in 2014 and he has resided there since. He met Adeline Grace Grote and they married on March 17, 2018 at The Nebraska Masonic Home. Don was the Past Master of Masonic Lodge #39 in Papillion, NE. He was a member Plattsmouth Masonic Lodge #6 A.F. and A.M. He was also a member of the following appendant bodies: Florence Chapter No. 3, Royal Arch Masons, serving as High Priest in 2000 and 2001, Omaha Council No. 1, Cryptic Masons serving as Illustrious Master in 2000, Mt. Calvary Commandery No. 1, Knights Templar, serving as Commander in 2001 and receiving the Knights Templar Cross of Honor in 2009, Nebraska York Rite Secretary/Recorder of the year 2004, Scottish Rite Valley of Omaha, Tanjier Shrine Center, Sir Galahad Priory 7, Knights of the York Cross of Honour, Nebraska York Rite College No. 138, serving as secretary for several years, Omaha Chapter No. 19. National Sojourners , Joseph Warren Camp Heroes of 76, Honorary State Master Councilor of the Order of DeMolay of Nebraska 209, and Alpha Chapter No. 325 Order of the Eastern Star, Bellevue, NE. Order of the Easters Star #325 in Bellevue, NE. He is survived by his wife: Grace Sullivan-Grazier of Plattsmouth, NE; two sons: Brian Grazier and fiancé Donna of Charlotte, NC; Kevin Grazier and wife Elizabeth of LaVista, NE; daughter: Karla Willis and husband Michael of Herman, NE; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brother: George Grazier and wife Suzie of Naples, FL; two sisters: Sandra Bond of North Platte, NE; Denise Baron of North Platte, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Katherine Grazier, first wife: Barbara Grazier, and his sister: Charlene Wise. Visitations will be held from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., on Monday, February 11, 2019 at The Nebraska Masonic Home in Plattsmouth. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Monday, February 11, 2019 at The Nebraska Masonic Home with Pastor Chris Abbott officiating.
