HARRIET B. WEYER 1939 – 2021 Harriet B. (Schindeldecker) Weyer, age 81 of Gretna, NE passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence. She was born on June 20, 1939 to Christ and Olga (Groff) Schindeldecker in Invergrove Township, MN. Harriet went to St. Paul High School. She moved to Omaha, NE where she met her husband Paul David Weyer. Harriet and Paul were married on December 11, 1965 and they were blessed with six daughters. After raising her daughters, Harriet started her management career in the dry cleaners business. After managing the dry cleaners for several years, she retired. Harriet and Paul then relocated to Juniata, NE. During her retirement she worked in the kitchen at an elementary school in Juniata, where her grandchildren attended. In 2007 Harriet and Paul moved back to the Omaha area to be closer to family again. They then spent the rest of their golden years in Gretna surrounded by family. Harriet is survived by her six daughters: Gale Bergstrom of Omaha, NE; Cheryl Wehde of Omaha, NE; Katherine Rodriguez and husband Vince of Omaha, NE; Carol Zeeck and husband James Russell of Gretna, NE; Betty King and husband Rick of Gretna, NE; Cheri Powers and husband Rob of Council Bluffs, IA; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Christ and Olga Schindeldecker, husband: Paul Weyer, and son-in-law: Gary Bergstrom. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth with Pastor Jeff Hicks officiating. *Covid 19 guidelines will be followed at the mortuary, please wear a mask and use social distancing.* Her final resting place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. The Pallbearers will be Jeff Bergstrom, Robert Mitchell, Michael Munsinger Scotty Munsinger, Richard Powers, and Rob Powers.
