KATHLEEN ANN DRAPER 1947 – 2021 Kathleen “Kathy” Ann (Nowak) Draper age 74, of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Kathy was born on June 18, 1947 to Arnold Frank and Maxine Virginia (Wojtalewicz) Nowak in St. Paul, NE. She was raised and schooled in St. Paul and she graduated from St. Paul High School with the class of 1965. After graduating from high school Kathy moved to Omaha where she attended and graduated from beauty school. She worked as a beautician in Omaha. Kathy met the love of her life, James “J.C.” Clyde Draper and they were later married on February 14, 1978 in Omaha. Kathy and J.C. made their home in Plattsmouth. Kathy was a wife, mother, homemaker, and she owned and operated her own beauty shop, Kathy’s Kurl in Plattsmouth. She is survived by six sons: Scott Draper of Omaha, NE; Rod Draper and wife Geri of Plattsmouth, NE; Scott R. Draper and wife Danielle of Omaha, NE; Craig Draper and wife Kristina of Kearney, NE; Sean Draper and Shea of San Antonio, TX; Nick Draper of Omaha, NE; two daughters: Sonya Benis and husband of Omaha, NE; Stacey Webb of Fort Dodge, IA; thirty-one grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers: Kenneth Nowak of Plattsmouth, NE; James Nowak and wife Kathy of Omaha, NE; two sisters: Janice LaPatka and husband David of Tecumseh, NE; Kay Hruza of Lincoln, KS; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents: Arnold and Maxine Nowak, her husband: J.C. Draper, two sons: Christopher Draper and Rick Draper, and two grandsons: Austin Calkins and Koby Draper. A Memorial Service with be held at 10:30 A.M., on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Her Final Resting Place will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Plattsmouth. In Lieu of Flowers, the Family suggests Memorials to the Lydia House in Omaha.
