LINDA ANN GRAVES 1948 – 2024 Linda Ann (Morehead) Graves, age 76 of Pawleys Island, SC formerly of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born on March 2, 1948, to Lloyd Eldridge Morehead and Edna Eileen (Aylor) Morehead in Omaha, NE. Linda was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth and she graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1966. Linda was the founder of Blue Sky Data Corp, a provider of equity and debt compliance data on state securities rules and regulations. She revolutionized the “Blue Sky” compliance industry when she realized the lack of centralized information, and she found her niche. Her name was synonymous with Blue Sky compliance. Linda lived in West Caldwell, NJ for over 30 years until she sold the company and retired full time to Pawley’s Island, SC in June 2022. While retired, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, riding her golf cart, water aerobics, ladies’ luncheons and attending mass at Precious Blood of Christ church. Linda was a faithful watcher of the show The Curse of Oak Island and her children believe she now has the answer to the location of the treasure. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. While living in New Jersey, Linda attended St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell. She had an “animal sanctuary” and you would often find cats, birds, chipmucks and deer in her yard. She was a member of The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, which is one of the oldest and most historic Chivalric Orders of the Roman Catholic Church. Linda was Dame Commander of the Papal Equestrian Order of the Knights and Ladies of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. Linda was an intelligent, hardworking, caring and giving person of strong faith. She participated in the following Committees and Boards: Board of Trustees - Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Newark Women’s Commission of the Archdiocese of Newark Advisory Board Newman Catholic Center – Newark, NJ Mission and Ministry Committee Catholic Charities of Archdiocese of Newark Finance Council of St. Aloysius Church - Caldwell, NJ Pro-Life Committee of St. Aloysius Church – Caldwell, NJ Linda was a supporter of the St. John’s Soup Kitchen and Health Care Clinic in Newark, NJ She is survived by her daughter Gina (Jody) Warner of Omaha, NE, son Michael (Karen) Prazan of Boonton, NJ and daughter Michelle Prazan of Murrells Inlet, SC. Also, by her grandson Matthew Prazan of Pawley’s Island, SC, and granddaughters Ashley (Justin) Schacht of Henderson, NV, and Kristen Prazan of Long Beach, CA, along with two great granddaughters Ivory and Blossom. Linda was the oldest of ten children, brothers Greg Morehead, Dennis (Bonnie) Morehead, Clete (Barb) Morehead, Chris (Jackie) Morehead, Mark (Jennifer) Morehead all of Plattsmouth, NE, and Mike (Cheri) Morehead of Papillion, NE, and sisters Pat Beam of Bellevue, NE, Jackie (Pat) Hollingsed of Omaha, NE and Terri (Mark) Bogle of Plattsmouth, NE. She also had numerous nieces and nephews, friends and adopted daughters. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Eileen Morehead. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Sean Timmerman officiating, Emily Bogle and Chaz Bogle as lectors, Dan Rubin as acolyte, Terry Little as vocalist, and Laurie Hajek-Jones organist. The Pallbearers will be Greg Morehead, Dennis Morehead, Clete Morehead, Chris Morehead, Mark Morehead, and Mike Morehead. Her Final Resting Place will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
