MARGERY “PEGGY” JOAN BRITTAIN 1932 – 2019 Margery “Peggy” Joan (Kriskey) Brittain age 87 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Silver Ridge Memory Care in Gretna, NE. She was born on February 27, 1932 to Raymond and Margery (Denson) Kriskey in Omaha, NE. Peggy was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth. She attended St. John the Baptist School and graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1950. After graduating from high school, Peggy worked at Mutual of Omaha. Peggy met William “Bill” Hanford Brittain and they were later married on April 11, 1953 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Plattsmouth. While Bill was serving in the U.S. Army, Peggy and Bill lived in Fort Knox, KY and then they moved back to Plattsmouth. Peggy was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and a homemaker. She was a member of the Plattsmouth Fire Department Auxiliary. Peggy is survived by her husband: Bill Brittain of Plattsmouth, NE; daughter: Kathy Hall and husband Dan of Omaha, NE; son: Dayne Brittain of Magnolia, IA; five grandchildren: Erica Bower and husband Justin, Roger Hall, Mitch Brittain, Tony Brittain and Michelle, and Jason Neuman and wife Emmy; six great grandchildren: Pyper Bower, Bryton Bower, Rhys Bower, Sawyer Brittain, Alaina Grisafe, and Donovan Foster; her brother: John Kriskey and wife Marcia of Plattsmouth, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Margery Kriskey. Visitations will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. The Pallbearers will be Roger Hall, Tony Brittain, Mitch Brittain, Jason Neuman, Justin Bower, and Kevin Faris. Her Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
